Hey, it's me!

"Hey, I saw this and I thought I should tell you."

That was one of my good friends to me, recently. She was telling me about an internship opportunity to be a blog writer for some company.

First of all, such thoughtful texts make me smile so big. I mean, 'You saw that and thought about me? And you see me as a potential blog writer?' Wow!

So when I went to the website, I found that one of the things that would have probably given me an added advantage was having a personal blog. They indicated that I could attach a link to my personal blog if I had one, that way they could have a glimpse of my work.

I can't say I was exactly mad at myself after reading that, but I definitely felt guilty about procrastination. It was some sort of icky feeling.

Anyways, that is how we finally got here!

I was like, 'Can we just start!' And so, here is a little intro to my blog and about myself:

I am Nesh. Nesh Mitei if you insist on the second one. I am just a little girl who is trying to figure out life. Well, not exactly 'little' but I promise you I was born not so long ago. Just that the years are moving by so fast. And I say, 'trying to figure out life' because I am in my last semester in campus and I know a whole new phase of life awaits me out there. It's also a hopeful statement because things have to be figured out for sure.

These past few years make up a huge part of my story. The good, the bad and everything in-between. I purpose to have a diverse range of content on my blog but the first few posts will be about my personal experiences, because that's what I know best!

They say writing or journalling helps you clear your mind. By writing down your thoughts, experiences or feelings, you release them and that way, they have less power over you. So how about clearing my mind as I I let you read these little pieces of me? 

I have always been passionate about writing, always! And I have always wanted to do this. I have a thing for words; written or told. That explains why I love reading articles and enjoy listening to wholesome podcasts. I read novels too. I am a lover of all things creative, from writing to art to music. 

Thanks to my close friends who have always reminded me that I can be a good writer. It really fills my heart to be finally bringing this to life. It feels like my blog is my new baby. You know how people love on their babies and never quit on them? That's it here too.

I won't talk much about my personality on this introduction post, because there is plenty of time to get to know me better; through my pieces.

So yeah, a toast to intentional beginnings of the things we have always wanted to do! Grab a cup of tea, settle in, and let's see where this road goes. Welcome to my world! I appreciate you being here and I hope you will always come back!
